A wise person once said that there is no such thing as bad pizza, and although we don’t altogether agree, we can amend it to say that Hideaway Pizza and their five Tulsa locations have never served us a bad one! We don’t often talk about the chain restaurants, knowing that guests like to visit places they can’t in their own hometowns, but we feel we are safe with Hideaway, knowing that it is a local chain with locations that exist only in Tulsa! And even though they do not deliver to your oh so comfortable StayInTulsaOK vacation escape, we can promise the pizza is so good it will be worthy of putting on pants and shoes!
Five Locations Waiting to Be Discovered
With its five locations spread all over Tulsa, it is a safe bet to guess that there will be a location near your vacation sanctuary or near the fun activities you will be enjoying during your stay. The locations—1419 E 15th Street, 5966 S Yale Avenue, 7549 S Olympia Avenue, 7877 E 51st Street, and 10461 S Memorial Drive # 7040—all offer a full bar to ensure that your dining experience is even more memorable, and multiple televisions hung over the bars will allow you to watch the big games, even if they are all Tulsa related. (Who knows? Maybe your home team will be playing our home team?)
Is Pizza the Food of Love?
We definitely think if any food personified love, it would be the not so humble pie we all adore, and Hideaway’s pizzas will change your life. Choose from one of the Hideaway Pizza Tulsa specialty pies (Da Bomb just makes us happy, loaded with salami, pepperoni, pineapple, balsamic drizzle, and a parmesan herb shake) or get creative and build your own; their list of toppings is a long one. Also serving appetizers (Famous Fried Mushrooms is our fave!) salads, sandwiches (try the Dagwood. You can thank us later) and rich and flavorful pastas, you are going to see a lot of food coming to the table, but we recommend saving room for their two varieties of Sweetza Cookies. You can always bring home the leftovers to enjoy for breakfast. (Because why is cold pizza such a great treat for breakfast?)
